Ulcer treatment


Ulcer is a big problem for many people, especially for those whose jobs don’t pressure them for any particular kind of physical labor. Once you are affected with ulcer, then you have to make sure that you don’t get away from the routine habits prescribed by the doctor. That said, we have to know what is ulcer in order to know the ways to combat it.
 
                It occurs when the mucus membrane in the uppermost layer of the abdominal wall gets depleted due to pathological action. The hydro chloric acid produced by the stomach, thus comes in contact with the abdominal wall directly leading to inflammation and results in ‘ulcer’. Once ulcer is detected through endoscopy by a recognized gastroenterologist, you have to follow some strict regime in order to properly treat the disease.

First of all, you have to fight against the pathogens in order to remove the infection. However following the process, you have to continue a set of fine habits for completing the fight against ulcer.

Lime and Honey: Make a mixture out from honey and lime along with lukewarm water. Have about 2 tbsp. of this medicine on an empty stomach daily. It works out well in order to rebuild the mucus membrane.

Tender Coconut water: Tender coconut water works well and for the ulcer in such a way that it reduces the abdominal temperature and prevents the mucus membrane from further deterioration.

White Meat: As we mentioned above, we have to protect the mucus membrane from hydro chloric acid. Since red meats are high on protein, they require more hydrochloric acid in order to get digested, which works adversely to the mucus membrane. So, it is better to adopt white meats such as fish.

Leafy Vegetables: Leafy Vegetable are in fact a great option to create an alkaline medium, which reduces the impact of hydro chloric acid in the abdominal wall. So, you have to be extra cautious to include leafy vegetables such as cabbage, cauliflower and spinach more and more in your food habits.

Fresh Curd: Fresh curd will cool down the temperature in the abdominal region and fights against the pathogens, thus helping the mucus membrane. Well, one thing must be added here that you are expected to use fresh curd, not sour curd, since the latter is acidic.

Well, the above said are the ways to combat against ulcer and once you got affected by it, you have to strictly obey to some specific kind of activities in your daily life. Doing regular exercise is one such an important activity and you have to specifically include less heavy body exercises. However, there are many important functions such as timely intake of food, properly chewing the food, healthy intake of water, avoiding Spicy and Oily foods, which you have to note down in your mind.
