Touching your child can give an indication whether your
child has fever or not. But to take accurate confirmation, you have to use a
thermometer. When temperature is this or above: 37.5°C in the mouth or 38°C at
the bottom or 37.2°C under the arm, your child has fever. But actually cold or
a viral infection can cause high fever. But this may not be a serious problem.
The child may have chills or sweats due to the extra heat. They may have
breathing problems, increased heart rate etc. and then you have to call a
doctor immediately.
