Leaves of Tamarind are used to reduce malaria fever by using in herbal tea. It lowers cholesterol level and help to maintain a healthy heart. Pulp of tamarind helps to ease sore throat. Decoction of the leaves is good for jaundice and ulcers. It is also used to treat piles, skin inflammation, treat eye problems, cancer and as a blood purifier.
