Arrest Cardiac Arrest!



What is cardiac arrest..? Cardiac arrest is definitely a life threatening situation, wherein the cholesterol levels in your body exceeds a particular limit and blood flow get stopped to the muscle, due to the artery getting plugged.

                It is pretty much hard to detect heart diseases, especially when it arrests you silently. Though the medical field has improved quite a lot over the last decade, lack of proper disease management pulls you from availing the benefits of the progresses in the medical field. However, following some of the below mentioned ways can act as something that could definitely help you to arrest cardiac arrest.

     1.       Proper medication: This one specially deserves to have a mention. It must be noted that medications are advised to people, who has had the experience of heart attacks in the past. People, who are high on their cholesterol level, are on the most wanted list of doctor’s prescription letter. Beta blockers and calcium channel are suggested in most cases. Most importantly, what you are advised to follow is taking the prescribed medications regularly. Also people, who suffered cardiac arrest in the past, are sometimes recommended to undergo angioplasty and the likes of it.

     2.       A bit change to your routine: Well, this refers to a whole lot of matters. If you are a person, who stands right at the top of proper health care management, then nothing can beat you. So, this segment deserves a great deal of attention from those who wants to deceive life threatening diseases.

·      3.   Avoidance of excessive salty food: Consuming salty food puts you at the risk of cardiac arrest; so, drop them – no need to drop every bit of salt. Just take care of not having it in abundance.

·        4.  Why these fatty foods: Fatty foods are another reason for stepping into the doorsteps of high risks over cardiac arrest. So, anything that comes under the category of rich – creamy list must be rid of in order to have a strong desire to beat cardiac problems. The case may get worsened during festive seasons, when you are exposed to a wide variety of rich – creamy foods from round the corners.

·       5.   Say no to alcohol: Alcohol consumption arguably is the biggest threat before you while combating any diseases, especially which belongs to our current topic of discussion. Even if you are not at the risk of a cardiac arrest, it would be nice if you decide to quit the habit. After all, it is not a new knowledge that alcohol consumption causes injuries to health. The same applies to smoking as well.

·     6.    Maintain physical activities: Engaging in any kind of physical activities regularly is the most prescribed one for almost any diseases around you. Unless you are warned by a doctor not to have it (In distant rare cases), regularly have some exercises which will help you to pump more and more blood to and from your heart – a physical condition, where cardiac arrest cannot be applied in any way.

      7.       Involve family members: Giving them an awareness of the disease and combating ways is an ideal option to arrest diseases such as cardiac arrest. Teach them about the immediate aid to be given in case entrapped by such a situation (For that, you’ll have to learn them in a big way). Guard against the symptoms such as chest pain, out of breath situations, indigestion, sleep disturbance etc.

      8.       Undergo some tests: This is the easiest way to detect whether you are a potential candidate for cardiac arrest or not. Even if you don’t have any problems at present conditions, past history of such in any of the family members out there is an alarming sign and take it seriously. Undergo tests such as ECG, cardiac catheterization, ambulatory monitoring as advised by your doctor. After all, prevention is better than cure…!

Having confidence is a very good thing. But, don’t take it for granted always and take guard against anything that might indulge your family in deep saddened state.
